Alejandra Guzmán: 20 Años De Éxitos En Vivo Con Moderatto
One of the beautiful Latinas gracing our “dual cover” on this month, is the stunning, Latin Grammy Award-winning, unprecedented Queen of Rock, Alejandra Guzman. Alejandra is currently climbing the Billboard Latin Pop chart with her latest single, ‘Día de Suerte’, which is already reigning high atop the Mexican charts. The song was written by Alejandra Guzman, Jose Luis Ortega and produced by Alvaro Avila.
“Día de Suerte” has had an incredible launch, designated as the theme song for Televisa’s soap opera Una Familia con Suerte, series that has earned great ratings in Mexico and will soon be televised in the United States.
Recently, the video for “Día”, premiered on Premier Impacto and Univision.com. Alejandra explains, “The video is a rocking live performance with Jay de la Cueva on the piano at the recording of my latest live album “Alejandra Guzman, 20 Años de Exitos en vivo con Moderatto.”
She continues, “The show was an electrifying celebration for an exclusive group of fans at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City back in March of this year...” Guzman adds, “... we were all very excited for this night and worked on every single detail to make the show a spectacular audiovisual experience; we gave it all on stage and rocked the fans all night long with my classic hits enhanced by the rock-and-roller vibe and sound of Moderatto.”
The live album, out in the United States on August 9th, will be available on both CD and DVD formats and comprised of Guzman’s greatest hits, which will contain some special guests in addition to Moderatto. Also included, were Latin urban pioneer, Vico-C, who is featured on the track “Mala Hierba”. Regional Mexican diva Jenni Rivera put her unique style to a very special version of the hit anthem “Eternamente Bella”. About these new collaborations, La Guzman adds, “The duet with Vico was totally unexpected and came out amazing, and with Jenni, what can I say, she’s a queen!”
The album will include 14 tracks in total, featuring one of Alejandra’s biggest hits, for which she won a Latin Grammy, “Volverte A Amar”. “It was a magical night,” Guzman laughs, “The Palacio was crowded with fans that sang and danced to every tune, Moderatto was rockingly fascinating and the entire production was out-of-this-world spectacular —I’m really excited to share this album with all my fans out there... Love you all!”
